Ever thought you'd taken the perfect landscape shot only to find that there was a lamp post or crane sticking up into one corner, spoiling the whole shot? This harbor shot had the cranes removed from the bottom and the mountain in the distance fixed, the levels of the picture were also adjusted to add a little more life.

Photo Manipulation : Combination of Background/Cosmetic
Of course there could be a photo where you need both background and foreground work.
A great deal of work was carried out on the left side of the picture removing all balloons and the people standing on the left hand side. The light has been removed from above the father's head, large reflective spots have been removed from people's faces/glasses/eyes and finally the levels have been adjusted so they are not as washed out.
